I had a mixed experience at Hotel Stella during my stay. While the location was fantastic, being just a short walk from Roma Termini, the room left much to be desired. It was quite outdated and I encountered some inconveniences like the elevator not functioning properly. On the bright side, the rooftop breakfast terrace offered a good view and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit.

The room I stayed in was rather outdated, and although it was clean, it had an odd smell that was a bit off-putting. The bed was quite hard, making my sleep less comfortable than I had hoped.

The hotel’s location is excellent, just a short distance from Termini station, making it really easy to explore Rome. I could access plenty of shops and dining options nearby, which was convenient.
Dining

Breakfast was served on the 6th floor, accessible via an elevator that was sometimes out of service. While the options were limited and repetitive, the terrace provided a pleasant setting to enjoy the morning sun.

While the hotel has an elevator, it doesn’t always work, which was a hassle with luggage. However, having a rooftop terrace was a nice touch for relaxation.

I found Hotel Stella to be a quaint little place. just a short walk from Roma Termini. The friendly staff made my stay enjoyable and the breakfast options were decent. though there were some issues with the elevator and the firmness of the mattress in my room.

The room was small but clean, though the mattress was uncomfortably firm for my taste. I also reported a partially blocked sink, which was unfortunate.

My stay at Hotel Stella was a mix of good and bad experiences. While the location near Termini was very convenient for exploring Rome, I faced some significant issues with room conditions. The blocked sink was particularly frustrating, and despite the staff's politeness, I felt my concerns weren't adequately addressed.

Rooms

The room was small but clean on arrival. Unfortunately, I encountered a recurring problem with a blocked sink, which was never resolved during my stay. The second room I was moved to had a similar issue, which left me disappointed.
Service

The staff were friendly and sympathetic, but their ability to resolve issues left something to be desired. Despite reporting my problems, I felt like I was getting nowhere with management.
Location

The hotel's location is excellent, just half a kilometer from Termini train station, making it easy to access public transport and other attractions in Rome. It's fairly quiet given how close it is to such a major transport hub.
Dining

Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace, which was a pleasant experience. However, I missed it on my final day due to the early start and the ongoing issues with my room.
Facilities

The hotel had basic amenities, but I did have trouble with the elevator not working during my stay. That made lugging my bags up to the room rather inconvenient.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Stella. While the location was convenient, just a short walk from Roma Termini, there were several issues that detracted from my comfort. The cleanliness was decent, but my room could have used some upkeep, and the towels resembled more of a tablecloth than standard ones, which I found quite odd.

Rooms
6.0
My room was small but generally clean, though I encountered a few maintenance issues, including a broken light bulb. The shower was functional but had a section of the door missing, which was surprising. The towels were more like giant tea towels, yet they surprisingly did the job.
Service
7.0
I found the staff polite and quite friendly, offering assistance when needed. However, they could only report maintenance issues to management, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, they provided a welcoming atmosphere.
Location

The hotel's location was definitely a plus, just a few minutes' walk from the main train station and fairly quiet for such a central spot. It made exploring the city quite easy, which I appreciated. Access to public transportation was quite handy.
Dining

Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace, which was a good spot to start the day. The menu was basic, featuring cold meats, pastries, and good coffee if you asked for an espresso. It was sufficient, though not particularly exciting.
Facilities

The hotel offered basic facilities with the Wi-Fi working well throughout my stay. However, the elevator was out of service for part of my visit, which meant lugging my suitcase up several flights of stairs. This was quite inconvenient.

During my stay at Hotel Stella, I found the location to be a major highlight, being just a few minutes from Roma Termini station. The staff were friendly and accommodating, truly enhancing the experience. However, I did face some issues with noise from the street and found the mattress in my room to be uncomfortably firm. Overall, it’s a decent option for budget travelers who prioritize location and cleanliness. 😊
